Nikolay Tchakarov
Eliot leads Asteria as CEO, bridging biomimicry, engineering, and sustainable innovation.
He is Co-Founder and CEO of Asteria, where he drives the company’s strategy and partnerships, ensuring biomimicry is applied at scale to tackle modern challenges.
He is a biotechnology engineer, trained at AgroParisTech and ENSAM, and holds a PhD in biomimetic design engineering.
His academic path led him from research on Alzheimer’s disease at Columbia University to therapeutic nanomedicine at the Galien Institute (CNRS), before completing a doctoral thesis on bio-inspired innovation and interdisciplinary design processes. In 2020, Eliot joined Ceebios as Methodology Coordinator, where he focused on training, industrial support, and research in biomimicry, before co-founding Asteria in 2024 with Nikolay Tchakarov.
